SEAN MCCANN
SENIOR PASTOR
Rev. Sean McCann was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina and came to faith in Christ through the Young Life chapter at his local high school. He studied history and philosophy at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he served with Campus Outreach, and met his wife, Lindsey. After graduation, they moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he received a Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary, and from there they moved to Central America. Sean and Lindsey served with Mission to the World first in Costa Rica, and then for two years in Honduras. Upon their return Sean was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and served for five years as Associate Pastor of Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.
In 2016, Sean accepted the call to join us at Covenant Reformed PCA in Asheville, North Carolina, where he serves as our Senior Pastor. Sean and Lindsey have four daughters, Lucy, Ellie, Anna, and Mary Neal.

CHRIS BROWN
ASSISTANT PASTOR
Chris Brown is a covenant child of the PCA, as well as a pastor's kid. He has lived in Tallahassee and Crystal River, FL, Chattanooga, TN, and Jackson and Tunica, MS. While in Jackson, he studied fine art and creative writing at Belhaven University, where he graduated with a BA in Art. During his time at Belhaven, Chris sensed an internal call to pastoral ministry, and had that call tested and supported by various ministers. After his time at Belhaven he married his sweet wife, Anna Kathryn, and began studies at RTS Jackson. He was taken under care of the Mississippi Valley Presbytery in 2013. After graduating from RTS in December of 2015, the Brown family moved to Tunica, Mississippi where Chris was ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church as an assistant minister to Tunica Presbyterian Church. He served for two-and-a-half years.
In August 2018, Chris accepted the call to serve at CRPC as our assistant pastor. Chris and Anna Kathryn have two daughters, Emma Rhymes and Phoebe Flowers.
