CRPC Missions Support

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:18-20

The Church of our Lord Jesus Christ has been given the responsibility and privilege of "gathering and perfecting the saints," (Westminster Confession of Faith, XXV .III).

One way Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church fulfills that responsibility is through the support of missionaries long-term, short-term, foreign and domestic.  We regularly pray for them in worship on Sunday mornings, at prayer meeting on Wednesday nights, and as part of our weekly prayer chain.

We also support our missionaries financially.  Our policy is to support a few missionaries at a higher level so that they might be relieved of some of the strain of traveling to raise support.  Recently, the number of missionaries coming from our own congregation and presbytery has put our ability to hold to this policy to the test.  Nevertheless, we rejoice to know that God continues to send out workers into the fields and we are thankful for the opportunity to participate in what God is doing throughout the world.
